Privacy Policy

This policy says what data CareerCorner collects, why, who else touches it, and what control you have. Short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't run third-party trackers, and we don't sell your data.
1. What we collect
Account data. Your email address, display name, and the invite code you redeemed. We never see or store your password in readable form.
Your job-search content. What you put in: tracked jobs and companies, job descriptions, application statuses and notes, résumés and career-history materials, conversations with the coach, and survey answers you choose to give.
Usage data. Information about how you use the service — such as pages visited and features used — and technical data needed to operate and secure it. We use no third-party analytics scripts and no advertising trackers, on any page.
Waitlist. If you join the waitlist we store your email address and when you joined, and use it to send your invite, product updates, and occasional promotional email about CareerCorner. You can ask off the list at any time.
2. What we use it for
To run the service for you; to generate AI responses from the content you provide; to fix bugs and improve the product using our own usage data; to send you transactional email (confirmation, invites) and — for waitlist members — product updates. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for third-party marketing.
3. Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of trusted service providers to host our infrastructure, deliver email, and provide the AI models behind our features. Each processes your data only as needed to provide its service to us, and we share nothing with anyone for their own use. When you use AI features, the content you provide is processed to generate the response you asked for.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time through the in-product feedback form. Waitlist emails are kept until you get an invite or ask to be removed. Aggregate, non-identifying records may be retained.
6. Your rights
Whatever your jurisdiction, we honor the basics on request: see the data we hold about you, correct it, get a copy, or have it deleted. Ask through the in-product feedback form — no fee. (A dedicated contact email is coming; this page will be updated when it lands.)
7. Where data lives
Our service providers may store and process data in data centers in countries other than yours. Wherever it lives, it is protected as described in this policy.
8. Children
The service is not for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We'll post changes here with a new "Last updated" date, and flag significant changes in the product or by email.
